The activists Ruzanna Grigoryan, Gor Hakobyan, Arpine Galfayan and Eghia Nersisyan, who have undertaken the protection of the Mashtots park, clarify the technologies of the struggle.

Throughout the movement, the activists have taken several important actions, including setting up tents in the park area, capturing a few boutiques, and creating a Citizens’ Platform, where voices of people can be heard. The Citizens’ Platform in particular has proven to be very successful and popular.

All in all, the activists have managed to continue the struggle peacefully despite their rather violent treatment by the police.

Unfortunately, the activists cannot expect to solve the situation through legal means as the court will not support them or any other individual who protects the public interest. The activists will nevertheless use their knowledge of the Armenian Constitution  to fight for their rights and the rights of the public.
